Seafood Rice Stew with Spicy Tomatoes

You can use one pot or 2 depending on how fast you want this done.  I made it in 2.

This made about 3 servings.  Seafood is something that should be consumed soon after cooking so you don't want a ton of leftovers.  But it was really good!


1/2 cup diced onion (I like Yellow)
1 can white clam sauce (10.5 oz)
1 can crab meat
1 can spicy diced tomatoes
2 cups frozen seafood (I used frozen lobster and scallops)
1 cup uncooked rice (I used basmati)
Olive Oil
1 tbls Italian seasoning
salt to taste

1st pot:

Start to saute olive oil and onion

2nd pot:

rice, white clam sauce, 1 cup water - bring to a boil, cover and simmer on low

add frozen seafood to 1st pot once the onion starts to turn translucent, reduce heat and cover

once the rice is almost done, add the crab and combine the pots together.

Add your seasonings, cover until rice is cooked through and serve.
